Amy Mickle, LMHC, LPC

Amy Mickle, LMHC, LPC

I chose the counseling field because of the impact my school counselor had on my life. I find it a true honor to be invited into a client's intimate life to help guide them in finding the answers and the peace that they seek.

I also teach as an adjunct professor in a graduate counseling program. Mentoring new therapists brings me full circle from working clinically with clients to making more of a global impact. I find supervision work very invigorating and refreshing!

I hope new professionals find meaningfulness and satisfaction in being competent, effective, and compassionate therapists, without losing themselves in the process.

WORDS I LIVE BY:
"Everything can be taken from a man or woman but one thing: the last of human freedoms—to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way." - Victor Frankl
