Alessandra Sax, Ed.D., LMSW
I chose to enter the field of clinical social work and psychology because, from a very young age, I always wanted to help others and felt that, through my genuine care and connection to others, I could make a difference in their lives.
I am privileged to supervise supervisees, as I feel I am strongly contributing to the next generation of mental health professionals and enjoy very much the process of being a part of their growth as clinicians.
I hope that the next generation of mental health professionals adhere strongly to ethics and ethos and are truly mindful that they have entered the field of mental health because they truly wish to help others. A genuine, caring therapeutic alliance is what the magic of our work lays in.
