Kaire Poole, Psy.D.
I chose this field because I wanted to help mentally afflicted people in the community who are struggling with criminal behavioral patterns, drug abuse, and simply inadequate skills to fully live their best lives due any variety of psychological factors.
Working with students is very rewarding; it is gratifying to provide guidance to fresh minds in such a magnificent field. I enjoy being able to challenge and introduce new professionals to the application of new and old ways to apply psychological theories.
I hope new professionals embrace the beauty of psychological treatment and all of its imperfections and inconsistencies. It is important to know that one's theoretical style is as important to treatment as micro-communications between therapist and patient (physical, emotional, and outcome psychological).
