Kendra A. O'Hora, Ph.D., LCMFT
I chose a career in this field because I want to work with couples and individuals who long to be seen and heard in their relationships. I seek to help clients identify and advocate for their needs and employ healthy avenues of coping.
Providing consultation and supervision is my chance to cultivate and inspire the skills and intuitions of beginner therapists. The next generation of therapists are genuinely curious about how to make this career work for them. I provide my consultation services to uncover the scary aspects of starting and owning a private practice. I help new clinicians enhance their skills while considering their upcoming business moves!
I hope new professionals recognize that they are worthy of the love and care they are providing to their clients. Being a therapist is one of the most rewarding and taxing professions, but it doesn't have to come at the cost of our own well-being. I want new professionals to lean into their fears with grace and courage while exploring the limits of their potentials and advocating for what they need.
