Michael Koren, Psy.D.

I chose this career because I can remember from early on that I seemed to gravitate toward those in need of support. I knew that a career in this field was like a natural extension of my deepest sense of empathy.

I supervise because I have enjoyed providing support and fostering new growth within others who may be at earlier places in their professional journeys. I love the challenge and blending of perspectives.

I hope for new professionals that they have a chance to expand the limits of their comfort zones, practice conceptualizing cases, and reflect upon their own inner experiences. Self-care is critical to providing the best quality care to others.
