Mindy Maxwell, MHP, LMHC
I chose this career because I spent many years working in Community Mental Health as a clinician and leader, and I wanted to give back to my community in a meaningful way. I appreciated the time I spent working with individuals and families to support their journeys of recovery. I am now working in private practice.
I am passionate about supporting clinicians in their professional development. I valued the time that mentors spent teaching me. I am a better human and therapist due to their guidance. "Paying it forward" is my way of giving back. I also learn a lot when in partnership with others.
My hope for new professionals is that they grow and feel supported during our time together. Being in relationship with others stretches you in new and unexpected ways. I believe in helping supervisees identify their own strengths and ways to use the strengths when working with others and clinical areas.
