Regina Smith, LPC, CPCS
I chose counseling because I believe people can develop the self-efficacy that promotes healing of emotional and psychological wounds. I enjoy seeing others become confident and stronger as they walk through life's challenges.
In providing supervision to beginning therapists, I can pass on the professional experience and development of almost 30 years in the field of counseling. I like to see others find their niches in this field and grow toward their potentials. I had excellent supervision that gave me a foundation on which to build my skills. I want to help others achieve that as well.
My hope is that new professionals will value people, not just good outcomes, and that they will not lose sight of the fact that the person across from them is an individual who hungers, cries, and laughs just as they do. They will build a professional rapport that facilitates health and empowerment.
