Robin Hornstra, LCSW, RPT
Social work is a unique profession rich with meaning, action, and the power to make a difference. Social workers pull communities together, help individuals and families find solutions, advance changes in social policy, promote social justice, and foster human and global well-being. Especially in this day and age, creating change is important.
I had the good fortune to have an excellent clinical supervisor for licensure as well as additional training from other talented clinicians. It is my turn to give back to the profession by sharing what I have learned throughout my career. Supervision is my new favorite thing to do in the profession.
I hope new professionals can merge the new techniques in innovations learned in school with the wisdom and guidance of seasoned practitioners in a way that can continue to move the world towards a place of healing and equality.
